A is for Academics. What is your take on Academics and how can you use education to change the world?
It goes back to the saying, “Knowledge is Power!” The more people are educated on various topics, the more they can give their input both intelligently and informatively.
A is for Adversity. What obstacles have you faced and how did they make you a better person and appreciate life more?
I faced adversity when I first started in this business. Being a female in a male dominated business was/is a struggle in itself. With that said, I confronted certain situations head on and have earned their respect of the men who were not very accepting when I started my business. Fast forward years later, they now look to work with my agency in many different ways and commend me and my team for the work that we do in the PR, nonprofit and event business.
A is for Advancement. What short term goals do you have and what do you plan to do in 5 and 10 years from now?
My short term goals are to continue to grow my team strategically and to continue to work with the clients who we feel are a good fit for the agency. In 10 years from now, I hope to be running my business from Hawaii or Aspen.
