The odds used to be against you but you kept fighting. It’s your dream but to achieve the destiny that awaits you the work has to be put in.
When Floyd Mayweather, Jr. was locked up I sent him a letter. Since life is a numbers game what are the odds that he would not only read what I wrote but also post it to his Facebook and Twitter?
The only two numbers that matter are (1) I took the time to write and send it in and (2) He found something interesting enough to not only to share it but to personally thank me.
I turned FLOYD into a Derricknym to mean Fight to Live Out Your Dreams as a way to let the champ know to keep making things happen no matter what. When Foyd decided to share his Derricknym with the world, Fight to Live Out Your Dreams became a word of encouragement to many souls that are coming up in the daily struggle.
Whatever you aim to achieve you have FLOYD, Fight to Live Out Your Dreams. If you want to be an athlete you have to FLOYD with hard work and dedication. When no one is in the stands or on the sidelines you have to make it hapen.

Floyd Mayweather, Jr posted my Derricknym with the words “Ive Got To Post This, Thank You Derrick Hayes.” His simple gesture inspired me to say, “I’ve Got To Write This, Thank You FLOYD (Fight to Live Out Your Dreams).
