Today’s DERRICK Interview is with Saint Jack Tyson who is an Armenian 19 year old professional boxer that is currently 10 -0 with 10 Knock Outs. Jack Tyson is originally from Los Angeles, California and started boxing at age 12 years because he was led to the sport by God and truly believes that one day he will become a world champion.
When Tyson was little he used to watch Mike Tyson fight and said to himself that he wanted to fight like him and the dream continues even though many people think he wouldn’t make it happen.
D is for Dream. What is your dream, goals or what have you achieved?
My goal is one to become a world champion.
E is for Education. What is your educational background and how do you use it daily?
It’s very important to keep educating yourself with the sport of boxing so that you have more skills to display when you step into the ring.
R is for Resource. What resources do you bring to the table that makes you unique or stand out?
I believe I’m chosen by God to become the champion of the world. My belief is what makes me win and standout.
R is for Ready. When did you realize you were ready for what you are doing now?
I realized that I was ready to fight as a baby and since then boxing has always been my passion.
I is for Individual. Name at least one individual in your network that others should learn more about and why?
Mike Tyson is my role model and he inspired me to believe in myself and I keep believing because a lot of other people thought that I would never become a pro boxer.
C is for Challenges. What challenges have you had to overcome?
I have faced hard times in the sport of boxing because I had to do many things by myself . At the start of my career when I turned professional I had to travel to Mexico. Future Hall of Fame fighter Erik Morales was my trainer back then. After my rough start I knew things would get better because I train hard and I want to win.
K is for Key. What keys to success can you leave for upcoming entrepreneurs and leaders?
The two things you need to succeed are GOD and faith.
