New York Blog Series Part 1: Booksigning At A Gas Station

On our way to New York we stopped for gas in South Carolina. Next to our vehicle was a truck that read Alabama Author. Since I’m interested in reading I had to ask who was the person behind the pen.  Her name is Anne Chancey Dalton who is the Author of Massacre Island. Once I informed her that my kids were also from Alabama she immediately signed copies of her books for them.  Anne also helps other authors get their books distributed to schools and libraries.

Anne mentioned that when she was a teenager she started to write a book. She never finished it until 40 years later, but she finished it.
