Words of Encouragement for Writers

Look at every situation as the glass being half full. Writing is a tough industry, especially if you are authoring books. As a writer you open yourself up to be criticized and for your work to be torn apart by everyone who reads it good or bad.

However, lasting as a writer and becoming successful at it is going to depend on your ability to maintain your focus, have the right perspective about any negative criticism you may receive and some tough skin.

Stay true to your art and the story, let others adapt. When you know you are working to sell a million copies of your masterpiece, does it really matter that one person out of that million thinks it sucks? Probably not. Glass is always half full.
